Project Manager for large grocery and retail remodels, handling up to 25 projects at a time and managing the designers producing the construction documents. The majority of my responsibilities included directly discussing and coordinating scope of work with the client from the office and in the field, directing designers and quality controlling their work, managing billing, ASRs, and overall working to keep the project within the budget. I would jump in and help produce construction documents whenever necessary, keeping my AutoCAD and Revit skills sharp.

Hands on experience with all aspects of residential construction and light commercial construction

Interned at both the Public Works Department as an Engineering Assistant and at the Building Codes Department. As an engineering assistant, I witnessed several different projects, from beginning to end. These projects included total street reconstruction, replacement of water mains, and curb cutting to comply with ADA regulations. As a code enforcement intern, I had the opportunity to ride along for a few building inspections. These included several new homes, home additions, and an addition to Rome Memorial Hospital. I learned the process of code enforcement and how the City of Rome goes about enforcing and adjusting the code. I also participated in a plan review for a multi-family housing development.

Draftsperson for a Civil and Structural Engineer during the summers of 2007 and 2008. Also performed field duties involving surveying, site planning, and viewing structural inspections.
