• Project manager for 3-person team on a $1M USAID grant to improve design of personal protective equipment for Ebola healthcare workers.• Coordinated implementing partners including Jhpiego and DuPont, ensured compliance with USAID policies and regulations, and managed all deliverables necessary for a successful completion of USAID grant. • Designed an IRB-approved usability study for the improved personal protective suit, and was based in Monrovia, Liberia for three weeks to implement the study in the field.• At the completion of the project, the Ebola suit was licensed to DuPont for ongoing field dissemination.

• Lead all internal data, reporting and analytics, including GIS mapping tools, for the American Red Cross International Response Operations Center.• 2014 West Africa Ebola response: Directly supported International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) senior health delegates through epidemiological data mining, analysis and mapping, as well as developed an automated tool to help consolidate, manage and normalize emerging case data for real time epidemiological analysis. Created detailed maps and visualizations, and validated models to represent Red Cross activities in the field. Represented the Red Cross in information management and GIS in coordination with the humanitarian field, such as the UN and assessment organizations.• 2015 Nepal Earthquake: Deployed to Nepal as Information Management Delegate for Relief/Cash Emergency Response Unit (ERU) for the IFRC. Provided situational awareness and analysis; assessed information systems and reporting mechanisms within all affected regions, as well as within Nepal Red Cross Society and the IFRC; and coordinated information pertaining to relief distributions among the global Red Cross and external partners.• Member of Surge Information Management Support team: Remotely supported more than ten international disasters. Primary role was to collect, collate, analyze and disseminate relevant multi-sectoral data and information leading to evidence-based decision-making; create, deploy, and regulate the use of global response information management tools, including 3W templates, resource trackers, maps and infographics for analyzing data; establish information processes among Red Cross and other humanitarian organizations; and coordinate implementation of IM systems for disaster response within IFRC and ARC.

As a remote-work intern for SicuroGroup, I researched and wrote weekly reports on the political, military, and economic situation of Yemen. These reports included a summary of events, key judgements and analysis, as well as an up-to-date travel advisory. In addition, I plotted incidents on SecurityIMS mapping interface, including any security incidents or important developments.

While studying abroad in Germany, I worked in headquarters of the charitable organization AMICA to support women and children in crisis regions with a focus on improving medical, legal, and economicconditions. In this role, I created typologies of wartime rape and current political and cultural environments in recent post-conflict regions. I also assessed applicability of CEDAW, MDG's and international law to protect women's rights in these regions. In addition, I researched, translated and wrote the website section on Libya, and surveyed donors and grants within the US and EU.
