As a University of Arkansas Student Ambassador I take prospective student and parents around campus. I get to show my love and passion for the University of Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas by getting to share all of awesome experiences from living and going to school here. During tours I get to answer questions from the students (and often their parents) about things ranging from housing, to my favorite places to eat. It is a great way to give back to the University of Arkansas.

When customers come to the dock for a day of fun on the water, I was there to facilitate the process from the start to finish. Before customers arrived, I would set up a freshly cleaned boat prepared with all the equipment they needed to enjoy on the water. When they arrived I would show them to their boat and teach them everything necessary to have a fun and safe trip. My other duties were cashier, booking, basic maintenance, and answering phones. The satisfaction of knowing that I am providing customers with the best experience with something I am passionate about is truly rewarding. This gave me hands-on experience in the hospitality business and what it takes to be successful in an extremely competitive industry.
