• Participate in the testing of new firmware, software, and hardware supporting Charter’s video solutions.• Implement test plans to validate functional, performance, and business requirements provided by product and engineering teams for video acquisition, processing, and encoding solutions.• Participate in the evaluation, selection, and deployment of new test tools and automation frameworks.• Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders.• Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to team members.• Participate in the development and implementation of standards, policies, and procedures.• Understand the technical roadmaps within Video Operations to ensure compliance with established technical solutions/architectures.• Participate in the development of project cost estimates and schedule forecasts.• Develop, design and implement video transportation solutions.• Work with the field on the implementation of video transportation related projects.• Support operations and work with vendors and engineering, as needed, to resolve customer or redundancy related issues

-Remotely troubleshoot, test, and maintain video services applications.-Providing regional video device support Resolving and mitigating issues with video throughout the nation-Build, groom, and troubleshooting various linear and NextGen/OTT/TVE multiplexing, encoding and transcoding platforms such as Harmonic, Imagine, Arris and Ericsson.- Log into and understand the various alarms in Cisco DCMs, Arris CAP/DM6400 Cherry Pickers, BMRs, Imagine BNPs and APEX1k-3k.-Troubleshoot and understand issues correlated with the Content Delivery Networks (CDN) along with the applicable support and delivery methods over IP involving HLS & Smooth Streaming technologies.

- Monitor the network for all video, IP, and voice related issues spanning across the Great Lakes region.- Respond to network alarms with the primary focus to discover and resolve customer-impacting issues before customers recognize impact to their services. - After identifying an issue via Netcool, creating a ticket, escalating, and running a conference call until the issue is resolved.-Work closely with engineering, field technicians, marketing and vendors to resolve service issues. -Identify alarm correlations and appropriate response actions for future automation.-Assist Incident managers with large service outages.

-Identify, notify, and escalate network issues. -Respond to network alarms with the primary focus to discover and resolve customer-impacting issues before customers recognize impact to their services. -Respond to emails from internal groups and external vendors pertaining to a wide range of customer-facing issues. -Manage conference calls to drive quick resolution to customer-impacting issues. -Work closely with engineering, field technicians, marketing and vendors to resolve service issues. -Identify alarm correlations and appropriate response actions for future automation.

- Route technicians within Missouri and Illinois.- Assist technicians with any issues that may arise on the job or with customers.- Deal with escalated customer complaints.
