During my time as an intern, I engaged in a variety of projects, with one standout being the organization of a die catalog for one of our major customers. My daily tasks involved collaborating closely with prepress technicians, where I had the opportunity to recreate logos, trap logos effectively, and handle typesetting tasks. I also became proficient in using Esko Pilot to conduct quality control checks on final files before they were submitted for customer approval and before plate production.Additionally, I had the chance to gain hands-on experience in the proofing room, learning about GMG proofs and folding HP proofs into samples for customer review. My responsibilities extended to the shipping department, where I ensured the accurate assembly of packages. Furthermore, I had the exciting opportunity to accompany the sales team on a customer site visit, where I gathered valuable information and specifications for a potential new account.
