15+ years managing complex labour relations and human resources portfolios across the most dynamic unionized environments in the country has allowed me the ability to manage the collective interests of; internal stakeholders, union partners, contractor partners, and political partners when contemplating and implementing labour strategies and agreements while understanding the short and long term impacts of those decisions and how they progress collaborative, efficient, and cost-effective relationships.I have managed every aspect of labour relations and human resources across the most demanding and dynamic industries ranging from the Alberta oil sands, Ontario’s nuclear industry, and currently at the largest oil refinery in Canada with Irving Oil. One of my key strengths is the ability to manage all facets of complex unionized environments (single-trade or multi-trade unions) and driving positive collaboration between stakeholders, union, and non-union partners.I currently manage the labour relations portfolio at Irving Oil and represent Irving Oil on the board of directors for BuildForce Canada. I'm also the lead facilitator for the Ontario Construction Secretariat's Introduction to Labour Relations Fundamentals Program.
