During my time at Roche Tissue Diagnostics, I have focused on two major projects. The first project that I completed was an analysis of potential partnerships to bolster Roche's Digital Pathology algorithm portfolio. The goal for this project was to uncover key points of analysis that will quickly reveal the commercial viability of potential partnership agreements. By working with several area experts, I was able to develop an effective model to estimate the financial gain or loss of entering into individual partnerships and determined key areas of focus to prioritize other partnerships moving forward. This project generated a clear framework for early decision making that will allow Roche to continue building a diversified and robust Digital Pathology algorithm portfolio.The second major project I participated in was an audit of the Capital Expenditure assets on campus. The purpose of this project was to update asset records to ensure reporting accuracy. While completing this project, I was able to locate and update over 400 assets on campus, and performed significant write-offs for assets that were being disposed off.

During my time with The Davis Group, I worked with a team of seven other interns. With this team we completed asset allocation projects, learned how to create a financial plan, and communicated daily with top UBS members in order to gain a full breadth understanding of the financial services industry. During this internship, I became familiar with the inner workings of several different retirement accounts, learned how different strategies such as tax loss harvesting can be used to increase returns and minimize losses, and alternative investment vehicles can be used to improve diversification and minimize downside risk. I also got the opportunity to improve my teamwork skills through group projects, and further develop my abilities with Excel through data analysis assignments.

Developed a start up, ClassChat, whose mission is to improve the classroom experience through open conversation and discussion in order to provide an equal opportunity for all students to learn. Validated our business model by talking to customers, creating a prototype, and pitching on Demo Day to investors, serial entrepreneurs and industry professionals. I developed the user experience, lead revenue structure, and established the mission for our start up.
