Responsible for the oversight of daily operations within cardiopulmonary rehab and continued flow of patients in and out of the program. Calling on patients and doctors’ offices to obtain pertinent medical information on each patient to prepare us to give every patient the best care and experience possible. Other duties include:Assist in development of each patients’ individual treatment planMonitor patients’ heart rhythm, heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen before, during and after exercise. Teaching patients proper form on exercises that will be most beneficial for their individual needs.Push for continued growth of the department to put us in the best position to provide the highest quality of care.

Responsible for assisting the cardiopulmonary rehab and health promotion staff with any needs within the department along with direct patient care and teaching. Other duties included:Run patient education classes about health related topics to benefit the patients.Attend onsite and offsite health fairs to provide education to the employees and the public.Assisted in the progression of patients through the cardiopulmonary rehab exercise programs.Speaking with doctors’ offices and patients explaining the benefits of the programs we provide.

Responsible for using personal training techniques to give each and every client a full body workout during each session. Also responsible for customer service and marketing the gym to the public to grow the client base. Other duties included:Teach group exercise classes averaging 16-18 participants.Lead personal training sessions with a maximum of 4 participants per session.Demonstrate proper form and correct improper form to prevent injury during exercise.Modify training sessions to best fit each clients’ individual needs.

Responsible for being available to assist in any duties within the clinic during patient care hours. Other duties included:Assist in patient treatments and guiding their exercises developed by the Physical Therapists.Administer Work Steps pre-employment tests.Keep facility clean and assist with clerical work as needed.
