I've had many examples of people that loved using their intelligence to not only envision things, but make them a reality. One example is my Grandpa, In his early life, he bought land to build him and his new wife a dream home to raise their large family in. He dreamed it, planned it, built it from the ground up, and made it a reality. His example, along with many others, has motivated me to pursue a career in engineering.I've always loved working with my hands and using my imagination to find solutions to hard or complicated problems. My father has recently been training to get his pilot's license. It has sparked my interest in aeronautics and the engineering behind it. This lead me to an internship in K-tech engineering which they are a design/manufacturing company specializing in design of motors and electronic controllers, primarily for the aerospace industry.During my high school career I've pursued many hands on and complicated classes. For example: Physics, Engineering Principles 1 and 2, Interior and Exterior Architecture, and Math. These classes have given me experience in the basics of drafting and engineering. They have inspired me to pursue an Engineering career and to think outside the box.
