This position involves 6th grade level math teaching. Topics covered include but are not limited to: fraction multiplication, decimal division, factorization, and exponents. Other requirements of this position include running copies and taking students to recess. Through this opportunity I have learned skills in lesson planning, communication with students and parents of students, test grading, and scheduling for one on one support.

Within this role I scheduled weekly one-on-one or group tutoring sessions for college level physics classes for majors and non-majors. Students had access to my phone number and email address for scheduling or inquiries on topics. Topics tutored included but were not limited to optics, motion, inertia, sound, and electromagnetism.

Through this work opportunity, I have had the space to help and tutor students on biologicaltopics across the entire curriculum within the department. Sessions were one-on-one or group based depending upon the demand. Students had access to my email and phone number for scheduling or further information on topics. These topics included but were not limited to plant identification and biology, animal identification and biology, molecular biology and genetics.
