Duties started out as pulling product orders for delivery or customer pick up. After two months was promoted to the receiving department then further promoted to lead receiver. Duties include checking in freight accurately, checking for damage and conducting any necessary freight claims. This work requires the use of a fork lift throughout the day. In March of 2015 I was promoted to Asst. Warehouse Manager. My new responsibilities included cash handling, dispatch, and training of new employees.

Responsibilities grew from initial duties of ushering to managing a team of 14 floor staff, conducting job interviews, scheduling work and necessary training to ensure our team was customer-focused. Also responsible for accurately maintaining $5,000 inventory, accounting for and depositing daily receipts of $1,000. Also served as a member of the Safety Committee, responsible for monthly inspection of all safety/emergency equipment.
