My name is Cole Reddish, I am a fourth-year Civil Engineering student at the University of Colorado Boulder, graduating in May 2023. My emphasis is hydraulics, hydrology, groundwater engineering, ecology, and water distribution.I have worked as an intern for the water resources department at Colorado Springs Utilities since 2021. My experience at CSU has taught me the fundamentals of water distribution systems, industry standards and regulations, and water modeling. I have experience working with a large and diverse team of professional engineers. I was assigned tasks and responsibilities which I was expected to work on with minimal supervision, provide progress updates, and ultimately present my final results to the department. Interning at CSU taught me the important skill of learning as I worked, which is an invaluable skill in any profession. I work well on teams, strive to maintain a safe and respectful work environment, think critically, and problem-solve when a simple solution is not evident.
