Avid researcher and practitioner in machine learning and parallel computing platforms. I've worked with international teams in disciplines including financial markets, computer vision, and consulting to build descriptive and predictive analytic systems with industry-leading performance. Previously, I've led teams in full-stack iOS development at NYU IT.During my Masters at NYU, my colleagues and I were awarded the prize for Best Paper at the Sixth International Conference on Machine Learning, Optimization and Data Science (LOD 2020) for our work on exploring local pollution through oil market pricing. I was named 2017’s Richard Robins Entrepreneurial Research Scholar for my work in room traversal and laser range-finding. My research created an efficient, and extremely cost-effective way to gauge distance in 360 degrees for robotic platforms using basic, on-hand materials. My goal as an employee is to always be learning, to not shy away from topics that intimidate me, and to always approach life with a sense of humility and humbleness — There will always be something you don't know, and someone to learn it from if you simply listen, and think. In my spare time I love to develop for unix and the open source community. I maintain open source tools for Linux and personal research projects in Data Science on my GitHub, and I’ve previously contributed to projects like Scikit-Learn.
