I have a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I learned how to design, manage, and evaluate library systems and services. I also have a Master of Arts in Philosophy from University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and English Literature from University of Minnesota, where I developed my critical thinking, writing, and research skills. Currently, I am working as a Cooperative at River Country Cooperative, where I assist with various aspects of the cooperative's operations and activities.In my previous role as a Program Counselor at Stein Homes, LLC, I provided direct care for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and helped them achieve their personal and professional goals. I was responsible for program development and implementation, medication administration, living skills training, and supervising outings. I applied my library and information science skills to organize and maintain the records and documentation of the clients and the programs. I also used my philosophy and literature background to engage the clients in meaningful and stimulating conversations and activities. I am passionate about supporting and empowering people with diverse needs and abilities, and I would love to bring my skills and experience to your organization.
