Early on I knew that business was a passion of mine. Throughout high school I took the opportunity to take many businesses courses my school offered. This fostered my knowledge and skills early on, allowing me to develop my start-up in high school. In May of my Junior year, Lawn Dawgs Landscaping was born. This company, which initially was a joyful idea to make money on the weekends, quickly developed into a very profitable and growing business. Growth came fast, and change became a constant. Adapting to this change was difficult but necessary. My marketing skills allowed Lawn Dawgs to prosper, gaining new customers every day, eventually managing two fleets from home. This company taught me many valuable skills, and gave me a hands-on experience in business development, finance, marketing and all-around entrepreneurial development.I currently work as a Services Sales Intern at Dell Technologies. Dell has offered me a new experience in the operations of a Fortune 500 company. Working some time remote, as well as in the office, has given me a multitude of perspectives on how the corporate world works. This internship has developed both my technology and business skills. Through platforms like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Teams, I have adapted common operating systems many businesses rely on. Winning both the Accountability award, as well as the Standout presenter award, represents my drive and passion to improve at Dell. With any opportunity I am offered, I make it a personal goal to be the best I can and strive as an individual.
