I’m passionate about building relationships with students and helping them pursue their interests and goals so they will thrive both in college and beyond. I entered into this field because I want to make a difference in the lives of students, specifically those who may be at a disadvantage entering into post-secondary education. While I love the relational and developmental aspects of student affairs, my ability to develop strategy and seek innovative ways of tackling problems also allows me to thrive in settings where I am managing events, reducing inefficiencies, or creating long-term goals. My educational background in business and developmental psychology matches my diverse interests, and it has prepared me well for my current role which is a strategic balance of student-focused work and corporate relations in the Supply Chain Management Department at UTK. Specialties include: student engagement strategy creation and execution, program development, one-on-one advising, mentoring, coaching, large-scale event planning, relationship development, strategic planning, data-informed decision-making, and leadership development.
