Provide technical support, remote help desk services, and consultative recommendations for billable and non-billable Marco clients. Acting as Tier 3 support for network, network security, and server infrastructure tickets. Primary emphasis of troubleshooting placed on firewall (Cisco ASA, Cisco NGFW, Meraki, Fortigate,Watchguard), VPN, routing and switching (Cisco, Meraki, HP, Brocade), virtualization(VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, AWS, Azure). A wide range of third party tools and applications utilized on the job including Iperf, PingPlotter, Nmap, Auvik, Windows SysInternals, etc. Act as a mentor and technical support advisor for colleagues by assisting with escalated support tickets. Provide troubleshooting, coaching, and training for team members to enhance ability to handle similar situations in the future. Identify recurring issues in client’s environment and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, performance, security, and reliability of the network in the future.Success in this position requires exceptional communication skills, an extreme sense of ownership, flexibility, and a high tolerance for stress.
