Growing up with divorced parents living thousands of miles apart, aviation became the missing link in my life that connected my family in Nebraska to my family in California. Air travel was the only method of transportation that made it capable to travel between mom and dad throughout holidays and family gatherings. Soon, I realized that aviation was truly the lifeblood of our modern society. Bill Gates mentioned, "The airplane became the first World Wide Web, brining people, languages, ideas and values together." Undoubtedly, this is what aviation did for me throughout my childhood years. Gate agents, flight attendants, ramp crew, and pilots became a second family. Each experience bringing an indelible and unique experience. After two years at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I graduated with an Air Transport Administration degree. One of my goals in college is to further promote diversity, education, and safety within the aviation industry to the next generation of aviation students.Currently I have experience flight instructing in Cessna 150, Cessna 172, Cessna 177, Cessna 182, Piper PA-28R-180 Arrow, Piper PA-28-180 Archer, Bellanca 17-30A Super Viking, Bonanza, Cirrus, and Extra 300 Aircraft. To add, my most recent career is as a first officer at GoJet Airlines flying as Second in Command (SIC) on the CRJ-550.When I do have free time I like to spend time with family and friends, go hiking or biking, or travel.
