I founded Pet Angel Memorial Center in 2004 because I saw first-hand the unmet need pet parents had for an outlet to mourn, memorialize, and celebrate the life that they shared with their beloved pets. The concept of thoughtful and caring pet death care was a huge, and long overdue, success.As the pioneer and established thought-leader of concierge pet death care in the United States, consulting opportunities and demand for formal pet loss and grief education coursework grew exponentially. In 2009, I launched Two Hearts Pet Loss Center to mentor and coach those that also wished to also provide dignified pet death care services to their community. In addition, as the recipient of the United States' first certification for Death & Grief Studies with a Specialization in Pet Loss Companioning, I also bring much-needed continuing education forums to the veterinary industry so that they also can more peacefully, and skillfully, guide their pet parent clients as they experience the death of a beloved furry friend. In recent years, I helped shepherd private equity investment into the pet death care segment by co-founding The Pet Loss Center.
