Worked as an Application Support Lead in the Medicines Development IT area, where I managed a team of both off-shore and on-shore contractors, while supporting a portfolio of applications. Daily tasks included triaging daily support tickets, holding weekly status meetings with management, ensuring Service Level Agreements were met by third party contractors, maintaining and approving validation documents, and driving bug fixes/support related releases. When new systems were developed by the solutions delivery team, the new applications were then transitioned to my portfolio where I would take over resposibility for them. If an old system in my portfolio was replaced, I partnered with our retirement team to facilitate a smooth retirement of the system while ensuring critical data continued to be retained in case of an inspection. I worked closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Product Owners, System Owners, and System Custodians while supporting my portfolio of systems.
