I completed my 5 year stint playing football at the University of New Mexico. I played quarterback for three years, and finished my last year off as tight end. My love for the game is something I transitioned to the business world, attacking each day with enthusiasm and the hunger for more knowledge. Working with others, knowing we are all on the same team, I do what I can to make sure our company is successful. From the beginning I have always been placed in a role of leadership, where the team looked to me for guidance. In any team event, communication is key to making the team or company work like a well oiled machine. I have been put under immense amount of pressure on the field, which greatly prepared me for the pressures of the office. Communicating and taking roles as a leader in my current company has come natural.Transferring what I learned from sports to the corporate world was easy. I hope to further the skills that I have learned and adapted to whatever position I am to hold next.
