As Research and Economic Development Manager, Cole Judge is focused on enhancing Hollywood’s vitality through place-based research and economic development initiatives. She leverages data to enhance the district’s content and information for both internal and external stakeholders with the goal of supporting a healthy and vibrant commercial district. She collaborates with the economic development ecosystem to ensure economic development for Hollywood is robust, shared, and continuous.

Led the firm’s original research in downtown development, authoring the 2020 edition of Global Trends Affecting Downtowns. Provided market research, economic analysis, strategic planning on projects.

For three and a half years, Cole led IDA's in-house research efforts to provide the most up-to-date information about IDA member organizations & the place management industry. By the end of her tenure, IDA published 18 Top Issue Council reports, developed “value of downtown” assessments for 25 US cities, 17 Canadian cities, conducted 3 new advisory panels, released exclusive leadership & compensation reports. Cole founded IDA's research department, initiated IDA's new urban place management organization benchmarking program & IDA’s Downtown Vitality Index. She secured research partnerships to champion vital, livable urban centers via both IDA's network of practitioners & external partners; worked with Board of Directors; managed IDA's Research Committee comprised of industry leaders.

The White House Strong Cities, Strong Communities (SC2) program was a federal initiative to strengthen cities by enhancing the capacity of local governments to develop & execute economic visions & strategies. Cole worked as an SC2 Economic Development Fellow, housed at Downtown Fresno Partnership, to assist the Fresno General Plan's goal of downtown revitalization.

Taught weekly yoga practice for all levels on rooftop of Pacific Southwest Building followed by breakfast at various local restaurants on Fulton.

Supported DDP's place-based economic development initiatives and produced Downtown Denver's first State of Downtown report.

Produced report on State of Active Transportation in New Orleans; Assisted residents navigate governmental rebuilding programs.

Provided support for Tulane's Center for Bioenvironmental Research & the Lower 9th's Center for Sustainable Engagement & Development.

Managed alumni & recruitment programs for MCC; Part of onsite crew (Oct 2005) in Louisiana to provide relief after Hurricane Katrina.
