I am Cole Laughlin, a sophomore at Purdue University majoring in Supply Chain and Operations Management with a concentration in Data Analytics. I chose to study these areas because of their growing importance in our society. COVID-19 showed me the importance of the supply chain, and I feel it gives me a unique challenge to take on every day. I feel that being able to think analytically is a strength of mine, and plays a big part in my choosing this major. I feel that these complement each other perfectly, and will be very useful throughout my career. Though I am now at Purdue University, my time at Ball State University was great, and I believe it helped shape me into a better leader, communicator, and learner. During my time at Ball State, I was the Founder and President of the Pickleball Club at Ball State, while maintaining a 3.7 GPA. While I finish out my college career at Purdue, I will continue this academic success, push myself to become a better leader and continue to improve as a learner.
