At Cornell University, I am serving as the President of Cornell Effective Altruism, which has fostered a thriving community of Effective Altruists at Cornell University. Our community main tenants are inspired both from value alignment with key EA ideas that are pursued in context of Cornell's 'any student, any study' model. Through this approach, we have grown the variety of disciplines and backgrounds reflected within the Cornell EA community, while also holding at our community's heart an aim for direct high ethical impact, post-graduation career success for our members, and leveraging existing communities at Cornell who aim to do good to do good better. Chicago's XLab summer research fellowship is dedicated to interdisciplinary research in existential & global catastrophic risks, including research in AI Safety and Governance, biosecurity, nuclear security, extreme climate hazards, and systemic risk & resilience. My focuses on developing a focused introduction to AI safety, translating technical risks & potential technical & policy based interventions to a general audience. 21st Talks' mission is get young people involved in the fight against the greatest threats facing humanity right now. Host, researcher, and founder at 21st Talks Podcast -- a public communication company for effective altruism and existential risk -- where I speak with professors, researchers, and artists on life in the 21st century and how we can overcome the greatest threats to human flourishing. With the goal of understanding the forces, ideas, and challenges that define (and will define) our lives in the 21st Century.

I was a facilitator for the Effective Altruism 8-week introductory ARETE fellowship program through Cornell University's EA community. This role involved running weekly meetings and discussions, 1-on-1 peer advising for EA involvement and career advising, and extensive research into EA.
