Honored to be able to lead and strategically grow my family steel business by focusing on process and people, and by promoting our mission to "improve lives and lead by example." I have a wide array of professional experience in various industries that have given me a unique perspective on how to grow small businesses. I am a dreamer and visionary, and I don't think there are limits to what a group can achieve when operating in a healthy and focused way. I believe in a holistic approach to business optimization and think that every part of the business needs to be healthy to keep the business thriving and growing as a whole. I have an entrepreneurial heart and have started two companies previously: thinkCOPO (COPO Market) - an online and pop-up retailer that focuses on creating opportunity for men and women in remote villages in Rwanda, Africa AND Shiloh Mission Farms - focusing on providing sustainable, organically-raised meats, eggs, and dairy to the local community. We are nothing without our community, and the best businesses will strengthen that bond.Today, Porter Steel is my number one focus. It's an exciting time for growth, expansion, and process improvement. I am honored to lead a group of dedicated people who see the opportunities we can achieve together. Our business consists of 3 main divisions: Miscellaneous Metals, Structural Steel, and Architectural Metals. We serve large Structural Fabricators who focus on partnership by providing our Miscellaneous Metals expertise on large structural projects. We serve General Contractors who share our values by providing turnkey Structural and Miscellaneous. And we serve Developers and Owners who self-perform and are looking for a knowledgeable and dependable steel partner to make their project a success.
