I drove EBITDA objectives, operational goals and overall strategic direction for this company’s Automotive value stream. I ensured accurate and timely raw material planning for both company and customer mills. I also commercially supported negotiations and delivered subject matter expertise for multi-year agreements. Additionally, I led the company’s automotive waste recycling program and managed 3 direct reports and a team of Specialists, Engineers and administrative staff.During my tenure, I:• Transformed the company’s Metals Procurement process from tactical to a strategic buying program, based on market study and operational planning. • Aided OEM customers to prepare for the launch of newly aluminized vehicles, including GM’s SUV line and Ford’s F150, the world’s largest aluminum intensive vehicle.• Developed and implemented key reporting, analyses and benchmarking metrics to drive success.
