Cole Eckerman is the Principal & Founder of Eckerhaus Consulting. She earned a Master of Science in Strategic Fundraising and Philanthropy from Bay Path College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and received her BA from The Evergreen State College. Originally from Portland, OR, Cole has worked as a professional fundraiser for nearly two decades. She moved to Washington in 2006 to work on the Yes on I-937 campaign, directing the door-to-door grassroots fundraising efforts for the initiative. Cole loves working as a fundraiser, because she sees cultivating donations as a way to connect people with issues they care about. She specialized in individual gift fundraising, social media management for nonprofits, donor cultivation, dynamic communications strategies, and nonprofit website optimization. When she isn’t changing the world one donation at a time, Cole can be found in and around her home in Maple Valley, which she shares with her husband Nathan, and their 3 dogs, Rue the chihuahua, and their English Mastiffs Lagertha and Tiberius.
