I'm an experienced Project Manager with expertise in railway & tramway infrastructure, having worked across 4 states in Australia and in England. Possessing a Bachelor in Civil Engineering (Swinburne University of Technology) I have a strong engineering mindset, which complements the other skills I've gathered over my 15 years in the railway industry. I've managed teams of different sizes in successful delivery of maintenance contracts and also varying project work. I have learnt the value of having employees with different backgrounds, skillsets and experiences, and how this can elevate not just the team, but the business and what we're capable of delivering. Client relations are a continued focus of mine, and I take pride in my ability to contribute to the achievement of the aligned goals of the client and my own team and organisation, which has been demonstrated across the numerous schemes I've worked on.The railway has demonstrated time and again it can be a dangerous environment to work in. I take particular satisfaction in demonstrating the benefits that come from improved or new working practices to benefit the safety of all. It's also often the case that improved productivity and quality are a by-product of doing things in a safer and more controlled manner. It is with this in mind I've led several network or organisation first utilisations of railway plant, equipment or processes, leading to excellent results. As innovative working and management practices continue to evolve I look forward to championing their use to deliver improved performance, ultimately benefiting all stakeholders.
