I take pride in building and leading collaborative teams, fostering a culture of learning through experience, and making data accessible to non-technical audiences.In my current role as Data Director at the California Republican Party, I manage operations of the data department and lead a talented team to continuously enhance data management operations. I focus on modernizing our warehousing and analytics program, promoting data-driven decision-making, and providing the next generation of California leaders with the data they need to be successful.As the State Data Director for the Republican National Committee in California during the 2020 election cycle, I managed data operations for targeted congressional campaigns. Leveraging data played a crucial role in achieving a 100% success rate in these assigned races. Republicans flipped four congressional seats, marking the first victories over incumbents in California since 1994.In 2021, I joined the CAGOP to lead the nation’s largest voter data transition project, moving data from our legacy data provider to our current data warehouse. This process moved billions of records gathered from over a decade into our new modernized solution.In 2022, my team expanded our user base to over 1,100 campaigns, covering every target congressional and state legislative campaign. We significantly improved our voter database with billions of new data points and integrated more than 14,000 districts across California. This expansion empowered hundreds of county supervisors, city council members, school board candidates, and more to leverage our data for electoral victories. We successfully defended all incumbent congressional districts and won two newly drawn open seats, adding two new congressional members to our state delegation.In 2023, we launched an interactive data visualization platform for research called EDN (Election Data Network; pronounced Eden). This platform empowers campaigns, committees, and organizations to explore detailed election results, live voter file reports, census data, and more; all in one user-friendly interface.My experience has given me invaluable insight into how effective organizations can leverage data and I am committed to applying this expertise to create meaningful change.
