I played a major role in leading the rebranding and operationalizing the launch of the new division.

Visit Lake Norman is a non-profit organization dedicated to greatly impacting our local and regional economies through tourism. VLN is committed to generating economic benefits for the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville by bringing national and regional events to the area and by marketing our destination to the broadest base of potential visitors possible.Some of my accomplishments include:-Designed a video marketing campaign to create exposure to features and attractions of the Lake Norman area.-Determined the Estimated Economic Impact of events to the local economy and presented the organized data in an easy to understand format. -Gained experience with coordinating between hotels and event venues to facilitate special events, including the MBA All-Star Weekend in Charlotte, NC.-Researched hotel amenities in order to compile a master document on area hotels.-Complied and presented information through RFPs from hotel reservation leads and sales clients.-Assisted with account entries into content management database in order to track and maintain contact with leads. -Gained experience with Simpleview CRM and CMS software.
