Recognizes and amplifies proven and measured successful curriculum developed by educators in Broward County Public Schools. Provides teachers with opportunities for professional development. An educated community is a thriving community and education begins with teachers. • Integrates the efforts of multiple constituencies such as program sponsors, business community representatives, media contacts, and School Board Members to establish and maintain strong partnerships and raise funds for various Foundation programs.• Performs key operating tasks as staff liaison of the Strategic Planning Committee.• Tracks the progress and performance of various Foundation programs and analyzes value by comparing and contrasting with competing complementary programs.• Plans, implements and evaluates all aspects of Foundation events including fundraising events, recognition events, grant readings, and more.• Authors fundraising proposals, concise grant applications, descriptive project overviews, newsletters, and various forms of correspondence, as well as develops catalogs, brochures and flyers.• Effectively speaks publicly to generate awareness of and support for the Foundation’s programs.• Analytically screens, reviews and appropriately selects grant and scholarship applications.• Performs key operating tasks of specific programs. • Participates in the training programs offered to increase skills and proficiency related to assignments.• Keeps abreast of current fundraising/program development events by reading literature and technical sources of information.
