Colette worked for ten years as a computer programmer and systems analyst and also as an accounts and payroll clerk. Colette then became a co-ordinator for an animal charity for six years before moving into office management and as a Chief Officer within Age Concern. Colette, until recently was Chief Executive of Age Concern Hereford and Localities, where she has led the implementation of a merger of four local Age Concerns. Previously Colette was the Chief Executive, Company Secretary and FSA Approved Person for Agejavascript:void(0); Concern Leominster & District. Colette has been an Alliance Director since 2008 and chaired their HR committee and their Older Persons Interest Group (OPIG). She is also a trustee of Vision Links in Hereford. Colette has considerable experience in managing people; working with Boards of trustees; project development; funding applications; Tendering for services, managing staff, volunteers, and contracts; governance; employment law and rural issues. Colette has been active within the voluntary sector as a volunteer working with a youth club, as an LEA School Governor and as a trustee of charities. Colette is particularly interested in services for older people, from planning and consultations through to implementation and delivery. Colette has also served on behalf of The Alliance on the Interim HVOSS Shadow Board since 2011.
