I am a professional singer who has spent last 10 years entertaining seniors in all kinds of residences. II have learned a lot about the needs of seniors. I have seen what works and improves their quality of life and what doesn’t. And I have noted particularly the newest generation of seniors who want and expect more than the traditional activities and events. What I know for certain is that seniors don’t just want to be with other seniors all the time.Much of the programming I am purposing is intergenerational; from Art to music to plays.As many new seniors chose to remain at home, communities will need to up their game to properly engage them instead of isolating them into a senior center. I am very passionate about the fact that we need to start changing the way we do aging. Today!
