As an employment law attorney, I represented primarily women who experienced discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, unequal pay, and harassment at work.

As an employment law trial attorney with Gruenberg Law. I fought vigorously for employees who were victimized in their workplace by prosecuting their employers to the fullest extent of the law. I brought to each of my cases a passion to enforce fairness and ensure employers play by the rules. My practice focused on discrimination, retaliation/wrongful termination, unequal pay, and harassment cases. These cases included disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, and discrimination based on race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, sexual orientation, or military and veteran status.

• Research case law and substantive/procedural state, federal, and local laws governing issues specific to consumer protection claims • Draft various motions including oppositions to motions to dismiss, motion for preliminary injunction, declarations in support, and request for judicial notice • Maintain communications with clients to obtain information, and apprise them of case status• Investigate and analyze factual and legal bases for possible new cases

• Effectively delegated research tasks to interns as team leader in education law practice • Significant and detailed document review, analysis, and communication with community members regarding fiscal mismanagement of school board members• Drafted petition to remove school board members for fiscal mismanagement, ultimately effecting the appointment of a fiscal monitor over school board members by the New York Commissioner of Education • Drafted federal class action complaint against school board members on behalf of over 140 plaintiffs • Maintained communication with clients, witnesses, and members of the media coordinating print/television press coverage
