I’ve always been interested in people’s minds. I think the process of getting from thought A to thought B is so unique to each person that I’ve always known I wanted to study Psychology. I’ve completed my BA in Psychology with a minor is Sociology. I’ve bounced back and forth throughout my life, trying to decide what I should do after I finish my degree. When I was 7, I wanted to be a writer like mom, but I discarded that dream pretty quickly once I actually sat down to try and write something. Ultimately, I’ve always loved working with kids, and what I’ve learned so far in school has really opened my eyes to the psychological natures of childhood. I’m looking forward to getting opportunities to intern or work to help improve others lives. I’ve worked at a summer camp for several years that acts as a non-profit to help children in tough situations escape for two weeks of the summer. The work I’ve done with the children there inspired me initially.
