Since February 2007 I am working for the Italian branch of TA Instruments, a division of Waters. After a few years as sales representative in the North East of Italy, since 2017 I am responsible for Sales and Support in the Central-Southern area. TA Instruments develops equipment for Thermal Analysis, Rheology, Calorimetry and Mechanical testing. In 2006 I began working for Schaefer Italy, the Italian branch of an holding, which is European distributor for scientific equipment, mainly in the field of surface characterisation. I took care both for sales and technical support.At the end of 2004 I found an advertisement for the International Master in Nanotechnologies in Venice, and I decided to take the risk and "make the jump", in order to have a chance to get back to my original favourite topic: sciences.The Master course ended with an internship at Acqua Minerale San Benedetto, a worldwide famous company working in the beverage industry. There I studied the development and the feasibility of a protocol to deposit a protective coating on stainless steel mould parts in order to increase the resistance to corrosion and wear. After two years of onsite testing, the results seems to be very promising.In 2003 I began to work at Banca Mediolanum in the customer service. First I worked on financial products and stock exchanges, then I moved to bank accounts and insurance products.In 2001 I got my degree in Physics at University of Milan working with an Atomic Force Microscope to measure friction at a sub-micrometer scale. The aim of that work was to obtain quantitative data from an AFM, in order to demonstrate the possibility to perform friction measurements on virtually any surface at very small scales.After my graduation I took the civil service for one year.Specialties: Technical support for scientific instrumentation (surface analysis, thermal analysis, viscoelastic analysis).
