Closed Loop Initiative Partners (CLIP) focuses on researching and implementing climate equity solutions that capture resources to educate and empower communities in need. From September 2021 to March 2022, CLIP participated in the “Resilience Through Restoration: Developing a Sustainable Shellfish Bed Management Strategy" Project to support Connecticut’s Shellfish Sector. CLIP was involved in objective 5B of the project to establish shell recycling case studies. CT Sea Grant (CTSG) coordinated four local shell recycling program managers to develop case studies for inclusion in the shell recycling. I served as the program manager for the Stamford area program.

I joined Green Umbrella to provide support for the launch and execution of an equity oriented Regional Climate Collaborative and to collaborate with the Cincinnati Office of Environmental Sustainability to create an equity centered Green Cincinnati 2023 Plan. I later also supported the Greenspace Alliance and Faith Communities Go Green as a steering committee member to help in strategic planning processes in our region.
