As the Executive Director of Good Shepherd Humane Society (GSHS), I oversee the organization's animal services and two retail thrift stores, as well as handle most administrative management and public relations. I have over 15 years of diverse leadership, writing, and business development experience in the for-profit and non-profit sectors, with a current focus on animal welfare and advocacy.My mission is to build model programs for rural implementation that improve the lives of animals and people in our community. I have conceived, implemented, and managed several new community-focused programs, such as food support, trap-neuter-release, and disaster preparedness. I have also secured over $500,000 in direct and in-kind support through grants and corporate funding, and increased the efficiency and effectiveness of animal services. I am currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Business Administration with a focus on Strategy and Innovation, to further enhance my skills and knowledge in this field.
