‘Handmade Web & Design,’ is a boutique branding, design, digital marketing and web development agency based in Berry on the NSW South Coast. I co-founded the business with my wife Emma in 2012, and have built up a strong team of talented professionals. We enjoy working with a wide range of businesses, helping them to transform their business outcomes through good design.Prior to Handmade I held senior leadership roles in consultancies, startups and websites in Australia and the USA. I was also initially involved in the development of the BBC’s New Media division in London, where I formed an early passion for customer-centred design.I enjoy combining technical, strategic, creative and analytical skills to help define and improve consumer touch-points and to maximise the capability of new technology. I volunteer as an educator and mentor at iAccelerate; a business incubator associated with the University of Wollongong. I am on the executive committee for the local Chamber of Commerce where I live in Berry. We are primarily concerned with promoting the area as a tourist destination, winning various "Top Tourism Town" awards in recent years.I am also the managing director of a small publishing company, Windward Publications, that produces a cruising guide to the Whitsunday Islands "100 Magic Miles of the Great Barrier Reef – The Whitsunday Islands" in its 14th edition.
