Hi, My name is Colin Aitken, I am a Security Management Professional with extensive experience in policing both in the UK and within international policing, security sector reform and border development projects. I have accomplished measurable results while working at the international level on secondment from the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office to the United Nations and European Union on international peace keeping operations within Europe and the Middle East; working in Kosovo at Director level in operational command of 8000 police officers, as Executive Officer for the EUPOL mission in Afghanistan and as Commander of the UK Bilateral Police project in Helmand Province Afghanistan. I possesses a comprehensive background in strategic planning and policy implementation derived from conducting domestic and global operations.
