At Float I led data-driven initiatives to optimize user experience, increase engagement and drive conversion at each step in the customer lifecycle. I worked closely with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies, validate growth opportunities and measure success across product, marketing and sales. I contributed to the design of data-driven product features including enhanced in-app reporting, onboarding customization and AI/ML features. Other aspects of my role included:- Defining metrics and analytics tools that allow for a deeper understanding of acquisition, activation, retention and other drivers of company growth.- Analyzing trial conversion data to develop a sales lead scoring model and putting it into production with an end-to-end ML pipeline that scores in-flight trials based on product usage and pushes product qualified leads to our CRM as sales opportunities.- Developing and productionizing an ML model for account health scoring based on customer usage data to identify accounts at risk of churning for intervention by our customer success team.- Architecting and implementing data analytics infrastructure including ETL pipelines orchestrated with Airflow, data warehouse tables built with dbt, and custom data integration scripts that ensure data is available, clean and reliable - Carrying out deep dive analyses related to growth, and translating the results into data-driven narratives that help leaders across product, sales and marketing seize growth opportunities and make informed strategy decisions. - Notably, I conducted a conjoint analysis to measure our customers' marginal willingness to pay for various product features, and used that data to advocate for a repackaging of our pricing plans that led to a >20% increase in the share of new customers choosing the higher priced plan.

I led the Business Intelligence team for Toggl, a globally distributed B2B and B2C SAAS company in the productivity and time management space with over 400k DAU’s. Responsibilities and achievements included:− Defining the BI domain as Toggl’s first data hire, and overseeing the expansion of the team − Architecting and leading a team to develop end-to-end BI infrastructure using Airflow for ETL/ELT, dbt for in-warehouse data modelling, and Looker for data visualization− Bootstrapping a Big Query data warehouse and leading a full migration from traditional ETL with scheduled queries to a modern data stack built on tested, standardized, and documented dbt models− Working closely with stakeholders across the company from C-Level to marketers and engineering managers to understand reporting requirements and deliver relevant, reusable data resources − Implementing client-side event pipelines and modelling clickstream data for self-serve product analytics − Optimizing Tag Manager and Google Analytics implementations to enable accurate marketing attribution− Developing a fully automated lead scoring pipeline, transferring qualified signups to our sales CRM with product usage and Clearbit enrichment data− Designing statistical models in R of customer churn risk and free user upgrade potential, and building AI/ML pipelines that allow them to be used every day by our customer success and sales teams
