Professional Profile:A CFO with over 20 years of regulated sector experience, spanning large corporate, public and SME businesses.Seen as a personable, yet versatile people leader, using a combination of vision, collaboration, and a strong analytical capability to influence/drive change and enhanced value in complex matrix structured organisations.Built a solid reputation over his career across numerous C-Suite leaders for his personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive engagement, and the ability to forge and cement long lasting trusted relationships. Personal Profile:Following an adverse life experience in 2014 and subsequent failure to recognise personal vulnerability, I encountered a period of mental ill-health. Stereotype followed as a professional man remained career active with no admission of personal vulnerability, a decision that did nothing but elongate a path to recovery. I now take pride from bring transparent about my near decade long battle, in the hope it may in some way help others in the midst of similar challenges. This has seen me interviewed on podcasts and in 2024 I self-published my book (‘Man Vs Food’), depicting a personal account of a professional man’s battle to recover “from himself”. Experience has shown me me that such a journey in life brings an entirely different perspective, building genuine empathy and a focus on people, characteristics I still see as lacking in many corporate sector businesses.
