I’m an economic development and supply chain specialist with an interest in leveraging data resources and custom matchmaking to help build lasting connections between companies. For the last seven years, I have been working with Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC), a program designed to connect Michigan companies to strategic supply chain and investment partnership opportunities both domestically and internationally. Since its inception in 2011, PMBC initiatives have connected Michigan companies to more than $12.7 billion in new investment and spending in the state. We’ve been able to do this through our work with more than 1,100 global purchasing companies across 75+ industries on over 230 matchmaking initiatives.I am responsible for managing PMBC's information systems, data analysis process, and custom supplier/investment partner search process, where I identify data sources, conduct in-depth research, coordinate research with partner organizations, build customized company lists, and make initial introductions between companies.
