Data & Strategy Manager - Pure Michigan Business Connect
Current- Develop data-driven target market approach strategies to attract demand to the Michigan supply base.- Manage the PMBC custom research process for helping domestic and foreign companies identify new Michigan suppliers and/or investment partnership opportunities for over 20 industries.- Facilitate investment partnership discussions between Michigan firms and firms from outside of the state looking to enter the Michigan market and grow here. - Manage client development efforts… Show more - Develop data-driven target market approach strategies to attract demand to the Michigan supply base.- Manage the PMBC custom research process for helping domestic and foreign companies identify new Michigan suppliers and/or investment partnership opportunities for over 20 industries.- Facilitate investment partnership discussions between Michigan firms and firms from outside of the state looking to enter the Michigan market and grow here. - Manage client development efforts, particularly those aimed at establishing early-stage relationships with international and out-of-state companies.- Design, implement and manage the quantitative and qualitative PMBC buyer and supplier surveying process to measure the success of PMBC initiatives.- Organize and manage PMBC's data storage and retrieval processes and techniques.- Conduct regular data analysis and data visualization in support of PMBC and MEDC initiatives.- Maintain the CRM system that prepares all relevant PMBC data for integration into MEDC client resources management tools and coordinate with the MEDC CRM support team to ensure the data is properly integrated.- Assist in the planning and execution of PMBC buyer and supplier matchmaking summits.- Apply industry knowledge to review and evaluate supplier summit application data based on buyer need criteria in order to arrange one-on-one matchmaking meetings.- Serve as a resource, mentor, and coach to other staff and assist in the training and development of newly hired and existing staff.
