• Combine Head of Goalkeeping role with still being available for selection as a player• This is if and when required by the Manager• Responsible for the performance and development of;- three senior goalkeepers within the 1st team squad- two goalkeepers within the club’s U18 squad• Plan and prepare forward-thinking and creative coaching sessions • Enhance the development of the goalkeepers within the 1st team • Ensure all sessions are aligned to the objectives of the Manager and 1st team staff• Implement, lead and participate in training drills with the goalkeepers• Liaise with and maintain regular communication with the Manager and 1st team staff• Do so regarding the performance of the goalkeepers in training• This enhances the selection processes for match days• Lead Strength & Conditioning sessions with the goalkeepers in the gym• Enhance their strength and fitness to cope with the demands of elite pro football• Devise, design and lead goalkeeping coaching sessions with the U18 goalkeepers• Liaise with the club’s U18 Manager regarding the performance of the U18 goalkeepers• Contribute to their development and progression towards the 1st team environment• Conduct individual player and group analysis with the goalkeepers• Utilise analysis programmes, including Hudl and Wyscout• Show clips of players performance • Highlight areas of improvement to further their development• Lead opposition analysis sessions with the goalkeepers prior to fixtures• Highlight specific details of how the opposition line-up at set plays; - direct free-kicks- corners- long throw-ins• Contribute to player recruitment and talent identification processes of goalkeepers
