Current- Delivered multiple products from early concept to final production, including the 7th generation iPod Nano, and the Apple Watch.- Worked cross-functionally with multiple groups to determine product layout, mechanical user interface and feature set- Worked on selection of a new sensor technology, then brought it to mass production with the sensor team- Found and fixed multiple production issues through Failure Analysis, engineering calculations, FEA and in-factory review, including detailed CNC g-code review- Found multiple new materials and coatings to solve engineering challenges, and qualified them for mass productionTechnologies used for mass production: - CNC (mill and lathe) - MIM (Metal Injection Molding) - Die Cast - Extrusion - progressive stamping - single and double-shot injection molding - Compression Molding - glass, ceramic and sapphire grinding, polishing, and chemical strengthening - multiple coating technologies for both cosmetics and function - laser welding, press fitting, swaging
