My name is Colin Garneau and I am currently a fourth-year student at the University of New Hampshire. I am pursuing a marketing degree at the Peter T. Paul School of Business and Economics. I have worked in the digital marketing field since 2020 when I worked as a Graphic Designer for the Center for Wellbeing. I then accepted the position of Digital Marketing Specialist where I was responsible for the majority of social media content created for the business. I have experience in a number of programs related to this field such as Meta Ad Manager; Lead Pages; Adobe and Microsoft Programs; and more. During my time at UNH, I joined Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional business fraternity. In 2023, I was elected Vice President of Administration, a role that required me to manage seven different committee heads within the organization, as well as other executive responsibilities. Most recently, I was elected President of Alpha Kappa Psi for the 2024-2025 academic year. In this role, I manage the seven other executive positions of the fraternity and I am responsible for administrative tasks and operations of the organization. I am also a part of Voice Z Digital, the student-run digital marketing agency at UNH. As a Strategist, I have worked on developing a social media strategy as well as several digital presence audits. Through these projects, in collaboration with members of my client teams, we created content, set up KPI trackers, and content calendars, as well as conducted in-depth research on their social media and website analytics, all while maintaining proper communication with the client. In May of 2024, I accepted the position of External Managing Director, a role that requires me to maintain client relations, acquire new clients, perform exploratory and onboarding calls, and organize client teams for the agency. I am always looking to expand my professional horizons and build my skills in communication and leadership.
