I was hired as a full-time mechanic in training. My status of full-time switched to part-time when my high school classes began. At the business I worked alongside two professional mechanics and the business owner. My duties included an education in bicycle repair, preforming repairs and maintenance on customer's bicycles, general cleaning and organizing of the store front, and operating as a sales associate when needed. While working, I utilized the resources around myself, such as other mechanics and manufacture books to develop a better understanding of bicycles and the products that we sold.

I coached the sport of lacrosse to young children, varying in age from 8-13 years, each weekend throughout the year. I worked alongside a variety of other coaches in a collaborative manner.
