I managed the marketing brand plans, budget and marketing strategy for the Diageo Reserve portfolio at African + Eastern. The brands I covered for this portfolio are luxury brands including Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Ciroc Vodka, Ketel One, Tanqueray No.10, Bulleit Bourbon, Ron Zacapa, Don Julio, Haig Club and Diageo's World Class trade engagement and training platform. This role was a regional and on-trade focused role working mainly with the 5 star hospitality sector in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat, Oman. My experience on this portfolio is extensive and I have covered many areas with this role stretching away from a traditional TMM role. I managed brand sponsored events, new product launches, PR, media & marketing campaigns and I designed a host of consumer engagement platforms for the brands. I also created synergies with major international luxury brands for joint campaigns.I was directly accountable for the performance in sales / volumes and the marketing plan design and execution of Diageo's luxury spirits portfolio in the UAE and Oman markets. I take great pride in being the trade marketing manager of this portfolio having worked to grow it since 2010/1 from 900 9Ltr Cases to +15,000 9Ltr Cases per year by the end of my tenure.
