Conducted lab experiments studying the link between protein Sirtuin-6 and oxidative stress associated with knee osteoarthritis. Contributed findings to a now-published research article presenting this protein as a potentially new osteoarthritis treatment or prevention method. Wrote a 10+ page lab report, designed a poster, and presented work at high school’s research symposium assembly

Worked the front desk and gift shop; handled incoming paperwork including large donation and membership transactions exceeding $2,000. Amicably engaged with customers about their interest in the wetlands/marsh and provided detailed information about the ecosystems and wildlife.
