My Role was Workshop Supervisor working as part of a team to create an Operations facility for the supply of the Logging While Drilling / Measurement While Drilling & Surface equipment to the rig sites, along with setting up to be able to perform as many in-house repairs as possible due to the remote location. Within this set up a Neutron Density calibration area was also set up.Side Role of being part of the Global team to help roll out the competency standards and assist to assess personnel’s competencies within the L/MWD & Surface criteria.• Responsible for overseeing / Prioritizing the repair and maintenance and turnaround of LWD, MWD and surface equipment to the rig sit.• Leads, mentored, and provided supervision for the LWD personnel.• Part of the Weatherford global competency team to assist the roll out and get the local staff signed off in their areas of expertise.• Developed Workshop personnel and tracked their training progress and competencies.• Actively involved with team management and training with annual objective reviews.• Liaised with operations Manager and rig site coordinator to schedule rig equipment and establish when they were required.• Collaborated with Inventory Coordinator to manage the ordering of spares & setting of minimum stock levels.• Completed an accurate failure analysis in a timely fashion and reported this back to management.• Ensured and tracked all calibrated equipment was up to date.• Ensured all Hazardous chemicals / Materials was accounted for and MSDS sheets were available and stored correctly.• Ensured all Service Delivery Quality management systems including service records pertaining to all equipment applications were utilized, accurate and up to date.• Ensured all equipment load outs passed the required testing, revisions were up to date, all software revisions were up to date and that the tool string communications were good along with the relevant thread inspection paperwork

Working as part of a team to create a new global COE repair and maintenance facility for up to L4 high level repairs for the M/LWD tools.•Collaborated with Workshop manager for personnel management, plans for personnel changes, forecasts changes in personnel levels, sources local recruits, •Lead, mentor, and provided supervision for LWD R&M service personnel and teams within the Workshop•Setting the goals and objectives along with a training schedule for Personnel, and conducting yearly assessments looking into career progression. •Promoted and demonstrated the importance of commitment to Quality, Health, and Safety.•Manage the scheduling and coordination of the activities involved in the day to day running of the LWD team.•Collaborated with Inventory Coordinator and Workshop Manager to manage the ordering of spares, repairing of equipment, and the setting of minimum stock levels.•Ensured failure analyse was done in a timely manner and reports submitted and documented on global tracking system.•Sent Monthly reports to R&M Manager on for monthly review and progress.•Ensured all LWD workshop equipment and tools were maintained in good order, all calibrations were up to date, and the documentation.•Ensured all paperwork / tests and records were accurate, up to date, filled out correctly and completed, prior to tool load outs as part of a Quality control check.•Assisted looking into new vendors to carryout 3rd party repairs and Collar re-work.•Collaborated with Manufacturing, Research & Development, Product Engineering, Operations, and Global R&M to develop ways to improve procedures, systems, and equipment of existing and developing Drilling Services technologies for improved customer satisfaction.•Evaluated tool repairs and reported the estimated repair costs of equipment back to the R&M managers from the sending location.•Introduced the new Waterford Competency levels to the team and assisted them to achieve their goals.

During my time spent with Weatherford Drilling Services I gained a great amount of knowledge, experience and new skills with their fleet of LWD & MWD tools and equipment, from an Operational perspective and also a Repair and Maintenance perspective.Some Duties were - • Trained to work with and handle Ionizing Radiation and Lithium batteries• Trained to service and maintain MWD & LWD down-hole tools including – Multi Frequency Resistivity Tool Neutron & Density Tool Rotary Steerable Tool Bore & Annuls Pressure tool Hostile Environment Logging tool Gamma Tool Lithium Battery assemblies Pulser Tool Driver Tool Perform Firmware upgrade PCB Replacements / Fault finding Calibration checks of directional tool NDT Calibrations with Radioactive Sources• Included on Workshop 24hour on-call Rota.• Provided cover for R&M workshop supervisor as and when required.• Quality Checked tool string load outs before going to the rig site.• Traveled to various locations worldwide often at short notice to assist with their demanding operational schedule.

Electronic Repair & Maintenance Technician for Worldwide operations for directional drilling equipment LWD / MWD – Europe, Middle East , Africa , • Maintaining Measurement While Drilling and Logging While Drilling tools to various levels of maintenance by following procedures and other technical documentation.• Mechanical builds of the tools for preventative maintenance ensuring all procedures are followed.• Calibration of directional tools to ensure field accuracy. Analyzing field failures and repairing faulty equipment.• Adhering to all HS&E guidelines and best practices.• Production Co-ordinator – ensuring all relevant equipment met the shipping deadlines, prioritizing different tools as required.• Project of introducing new levels of maintenance for new product into the facility.• Use internal databases and software such as SAP for recording all maintenance actions.

Initially I gain an apprenticeship as a Workshop Technician Progressing through in house training and completing college courses to become an Offshore Engineer working on various projects Covering offshore survey and construction, inspection of ROV systems, ROV and diver tooling packages, geophysical and environmental sensors. • Test and interface survey sensors and systems to vessels, ROV, on-line and off-line systems• Perform equipment calibrations• Fault finding and maintenance of equipment and data network;• Administrate, report and keep log of equipment, including the tracking of equipment;• Adhere to maintenance schedule for all equipment and ensure all systems are in an operational state and in calibration;• Planning, deployment, calibration and operation of LBL acoustic arrays for survey and construction projects;
